Because healing is so important in Warcraft, First Aid is one of the best secondary professions to train for. You’ll find some great tips and insights into Firs Aid in this WoW First Aid guide.
First Aid is fantastic for any class, even healers, because of its potential to reduce your down time. This profession will also make you a great ally in any group because you’ll be able to heal others. The First Aid profession uses different bandages for healing. These bandages are created using different cloths that you train for as you level the profession. The higher the quality of cloth, the stronger its healing ability will be. I won’t get into making and using bandages in this WoW first aid guide. The list that follows is of the various cloths, their skill level and healing power. Heavier bandages, as I mention below, have greater healing power.

Making Heavy bandages require an extra piece of cloth and will have stronger healing power than the regular bandages. To find the books I mention for training you can look either in the wild or buy them in various locations. Next we’ll take a look a leveling in the WoW first aid leveling guide. The book you need in order ot level 125-225 is called “Under Wraps”. It’ll cost you 1 gold and can be found in Stromgarde Ruins for Alliance characters and bought from Deneb Walker. For Horde players, it can also be bought from Balai Lok’Wein in Brakenwall Village, Dustwallow Marsh.
Leveling through levels 225-300 will require a special quest. You’ll need at least to have leveled to level 35 and skill 225 to do this quest. Alliance, find Doctor Gustaf Van Howzen in Theramore Isle for the quest. If your Horde then find Doctor Gregory Victor in Hammerfall located in the Arathi Highlands.
To become a Master in First Aid, skill 300-375, you’ll need another book. Alliance players will be able to get it from the Temple of Telhamat, while Horde players need to look in Falcon Watch. You can also get the Netherweave book here.
There’re a few last things Id like to mention to end this WoW first aid guide. Healing can only take place when you’re standing completely still and aren’t taking any damage. Although healing stops when attacked or moving, you keep what ever healing has already occured. When your healing you can’t inflict damage on anyone. One way to solve this problem is to stun an enemy in order to give you time to heal. This is best done by using Heavy bandages.
